In Reading, the breakfast crowd peaks on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so a weekday visit or an early arrival avoids the line. Check the listing for hours, whether the restaurant takes reservations and its Google rating and reviews, and note that many diners are cash-friendly but nearly all take cards. Counter seating usually moves faster than a table for one or two.

Reading is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Reading is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had a bowl of potato soup . I was sad that a half sandwich with soup was no longer an option. The soup tasted good but was not as thick and no longer had sour cream and chives as it did in the past .

First time guest and we really enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches and latte which because they're made to order, came out hot. The menu is simple and though ours came out quick, it's not somewhere you come in a rush to eat. I like that. We ate in their little cone of silence booth which is really nice if you just need to decompress for a few minutes while you eat. The staff was friendly and we were able to check out the gaming center which we thought was pretty cool. We didn't use the gaming center but it seemed reasonably priced.
